The National Coordination Center for the Protection of Critical Infrastructures within the Ministry of Internal Affairs, with headquarters in Bucharest, Piaţa Revoluţiei, no. 1A, Sector 1, implemented in the period 30.03.2016 - 31.12.2021, the project "Ensuring communication and unitary training specific to the protection of critical infrastructure" - ROFSIP2016OS6A16P01, co-financed from the Internal Security Fund - Financial support instrument for police cooperation, crime prevention and combating and crisis management.
The general objective of the project was to improve the level of protection of the national/European critical infrastructures through the training and training of personnel with duties in the field of information exchange between these infrastructures and the responsible public authorities.
The purpose of the project was to stimulate, promote and support the exchange of information and knowledge in order to disseminate good practices in the field of critical infrastructure protection, as well as the development of practical-applicative tools.
The target group of the project was made up of personnel from the specialized departments involved in the process of protecting critical infrastructures, both at the level of the responsible public authorities and at the level of the owners/operators/administrators of ICN/ICE.
The total eligible value of the project was 2,455,618.18 lei, of which 2,210,056.36 lei - the financial contribution of the EU, from the Internal Security Fund - the component for police cooperation, and 245,561.82 lei - the national contribution of Romania.
Project activities were 100% completed.
