The "Banking" sector is constituted by the category of entities - Credit institutions within the meaning of the definition in art. 4 point 1 of Regulation (EU) no. 575/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of June 26, 2013 regarding prudential requirements for credit institutions and amending Regulation (EU) no. 648/2012

in accordance with the provisions of D EXCISES no. 55 of January 31, 2025 for the approval of the list of competent sectoral authorities in the field of resilience of critical entities , the competent sectoral authorities for the "Banking" sector are the Ministry of Finance and the National Bank of Romania.
