Health sector
The "Health" sector is represented by the following categories of entities:
- Medical service providers within the meaning of Law no. 95/2006 on health reform, republished, with subsequent amendments and additions
- The reference laboratories referred to in art. 15 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2.371 of the European Parliament and of the Council of November 23, 2022 on serious cross-border threats to health and repealing Decision no. 1.082/2013/EU
- Entities that carry out research and development of medicines within the meaning of the definition in art. 699 point 1 of Law no. 95/2006, republished, with subsequent amendments and additions
- Entities that manufacture basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations mentioned in section C division 21 of Regulation (EC) 1,893/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of December 20, 2006 establishing the statistical nomenclature of economic activities NACE second revision and amending Regulation (EEC) no. 3.037/90 of the Council, as well as certain EC regulations regarding specific statistical fields
- Entities that manufacture medical devices considered essential in the context of a public health emergency ("list of essential devices for a public health emergency") within the meaning of art. 22 of Regulation (EU) 2022/123 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 January 2022 on strengthening the role of the European Medicines Agency with regard to crisis preparedness in the field of medicines and medical devices and their management
- Entities holding an authorization to distribute medicines referred to in art. 803 of Law no. 95/2006, republished, with subsequent amendments and additions
in accordance with the provisions DECISION no. 55 of January 31, 2025 for the approval of the list of competent sectoral authorities in the field of resilience of critical entities , the sectoral competent authority for the "Health" sector is Ministry of Health .
