The "Space" sector is made up of the category of entities - Terrestrial infrastructure operators owned, managed and operated by member states or private parties, which support the provision of space services, with the exception of providers of public electronic communications networks within the meaning of the definition in art. 4 para. (1) point 10 of the Government Emergency Ordinance no. 111/2011, approved with amendments and additions by Law no. 140/2012, with subsequent amendments and additions

in accordance with the provisions DECISION no. 55 of January 31, 2025 for the approval of the list of competent sectoral authorities in the field of resilience of critical entities , the sectoral competent authority for the "Space" sector is the Romanian Space Agency.
